The Players Workshop on Tuesdays at West Pennant Hills Community Centre caters to strong readers in Year 1 and all children in Years 2 and 3. This year we’ll be concentrating on building our improvisation skills, vocal technique, presentational reading and storytelling. My aim is to develop confidence and support creative development through a series of imaginative challenges.
As 2020 was an exceptional year, this year we’ll be focusing on developing skills rather than performing for an audience. This may affect participation in Eisteddfodau and ASCA examinations this year. With permission, I may be able to informally film some of the students efforts – that way we can still share some of the learning experiences with family and friends.
Students bring a 15+page display folder and their own water bottle to each class. Workshops are capped at 12 participants.
